UtilityNest

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 19, 2026

This policy explains what information UtilityNest ("we", "us") collects when you use utilitynest.io, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Your files

All of our tools process files locally in your web browser. When you choose, drop or paste a file, it is read by code running on your own device. Your files and their contents are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them. Results are created in your browser and saved directly to your device when you download them. Closing or reloading the page clears them from memory.

A few tools download helper components the first time you use them, for example the language data used by the image-to-text (OCR) tool. These downloads only bring code to your browser; nothing about your file is sent.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and advertising partners receive standard technical information when you load a page, such as:

  • IP address, browser type, operating system and device type
  • The pages you visit, the referring page and the time of the visit

We use aggregated statistics to understand which tools are useful and to keep the site secure and working.

3. Cookies and advertising

UtilityNest is free because it shows ads. We use Google AdSense and may work with other advertising partners. These partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure their performance and, where permitted, show ads based on your interests.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalized ads are used, and can change their choice at any time.

We also store a small preference in your browser's local storage if you switch between light and dark mode. It never leaves your device.

4. What we don't do

  • We don't require an account and don't ask for your name or email to use any tool.
  • We don't sell personal information.
  • We don't read, store or analyze the files you process.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Because we don't keep accounts or files, most information related to you is held by our advertising partners; the links above let you control it. For anything else, email us at hello@utilitynest.io.

6. Children

UtilityNest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
