How to use WebP to JPG
- 1Drop your WebP files into the box or click Choose files.
- 2Set the JPG quality. 92 keeps nearly all detail.
- 3If an image has transparency, pick white, black or a custom fill color.
- 4Click Convert to JPG, then download each file or all as a ZIP.
When to use JPG instead of WebP
JPG is the most widely supported image format. Job portals, government forms, older Windows photo viewers, printing kiosks and many email clients accept JPG but not WebP. Converting gives you a file that works everywhere.
Transparent WebP images
JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas need a fill color. Pick white for documents, black for dark designs, or any custom color. The results list tells you which files had transparent areas that were filled.
Limits
- Animated WebP files are saved as a still JPG of the first frame.
- JPG is lossy. Use 90 or higher if you plan to edit the image further.
- Your images are processed only in your browser.
